Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) we may only set cookies that are strictly necessary for the service you ask for, unless you agree to others.
The short version
We use only strictly necessary cookies. We don’t use advertising, analytics or social media tracking cookies, and our fonts are served from our own website, so loading a page doesn’t send your details to third parties.
Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-…-auth-token (may be split into .0, .1) | Keeps you signed in to your account | Strictly necessary | Up to 400 days, or until you sign out |
sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier | Completes a secure sign-in from the e-mail link | Strictly necessary | Until sign-in completes |
pnm_consent | Remembers your cookie choice | Strictly necessary | 6 months |
Strictly necessary cookies don’t need your consent, because the site can’t work without them. If you block them in your browser, you won’t be able to sign in.
Payment pages
When a pro pays for a subscription, they are taken to a payment page run by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies there to process the payment and prevent fraud, under Stripe’s own cookie policy.
Optional cookies
We don’t use any today. If we add optional cookies in future (for example to measure how the site is used), we will update this policy and only set them if you choose “Allow optional cookies”. “Necessary only” is the default.
Change your choice
You can change your choice at any time:
