Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 16 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to find a pro or run their business on Pros Near Me, including people who use assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we’ve done
- Pages use clear headings, labelled form fields and native HTML controls that work with screen readers.
- Everything can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Text can be zoomed to 200% and the layout adapts to small screens and large text.
- Colours are chosen for readable contrast in both light and dark mode, and we don’t rely on colour alone to show status.
- We write in plain English and avoid time limits.
Known limitations
- The site has not yet been independently audited. We test it ourselves and fix issues as we find them.
- Payment pages are provided by Stripe and are covered by Stripe’s own accessibility commitments.
- Documents and photos uploaded by pros may not be accessible.
